The two most prolific wine-producing countries in South America are Chile and Argentina. Both countries are known for their critically and popularly-acclaimed wines of exceptional value. In this class we will explore the wine styles of these two dynamic and innovative countries. Of course the most famous varieties will be sampled, such as Argentinean Torrontes and Malbec, and Chilean Carmenere and Cabernet Sauvignon. But these two countries have much more up their sleeves--eight wines in total will be tasted.
