Old World vs New World Wines
Old World vs New World Wines
Time: 6:30 pm
The differences between wines of the Old World and the New World are pronounced and many. Who would have thought that the same grape could express itself so differently depending on where it was grown? This class will explore four of the classic varietals (ie: Malbec, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Sangiovese) and contrast them between their respective paragons of New and Old world styles.

Pairing with Wine
Pairing with Wine
Time: 6:30 pm
The art of pairing food and wine is not just a guessing game--there is real science and a logical method behind it. In this class we will offer several tips that can be adapted to any recipe or wine, giving you the tools to perfect your pairing skills whether out on the town or at home. For this class we advise that you add an Educational Snack Pack to your experience (it is a food-pairing class, after all). It costs just $15 for a plate of specially-chosen items meant to pair with the wines being sampled.
