Italian wines have long been world-famous. Most people have experienced at least some of the wines of Tuscany, Piedmont, and northeastern Italy. However, that leaves most of the country to be explored! Did you know that Italy has more indigenous grape varieties than any other country on earth? In this class we will explore the whole of Italy through its wines--from Piedmont and Trentino-Alto Adige in the north, through Tuscany and Umbria in the center, all the way to Puglia, Sardegna and Sicily in the south.
