Brovo Douglas Fir Liqueur
Every spring, right after Cinco de Mayo, Brovo takes a trip to the woods. They cut about six inches of new growth from young trees and take no more than one-third of any tree. They cut all the spring buds off- this is what has the flavor they want and infuse them into vodka. After the infusion they re-distill the base, sweeten it with agave nectar and proof it with water. Thats the Douglas Fir batch for the year.
