We are happy to assist customers with special orders for products that are not regularly stocked in our store. Special orders are subject to product availability, distributor availability, applicable laws, and the terms below.
Order Terms
Order Requests
Customers may request special orders in person, over the phone, or via email. The store will confirm availability, pricing, estimated arrival time, and the applicable 100% deposit before placing the order for the customer.
Deposit
A deposit of 100% of the purchase price will be required before a special order is placed. Pricing will be confirmed with the customer in advance. Deposits will only be refunded if the product cannot be delivered, the product is not in sellable condition, or any other reason that doesn’t allow France 44 to appropriately fill the order.
Pricing
Pricing will be confirmed with the customer before the order is placed. Special-order pricing is based on the distributor’s cost, shipping or split-case charges, the store’s current pricing policies, and applicable taxes.
Availability & Delays
Special orders depend on distributor and supplier availability. The store cannot guarantee a specific delivery date and is not responsible for delays, allocation limits, discontinued products, or supplier shortages.
Cancellation
Special orders may be canceled before the store places the order with the supplier. Once an order has been placed, the 100% deposit may be non-refundable unless the supplier accepts a return or cancellation, or that the products arrive in unsellable condition.
Pickup
Customers will be notified when their special order arrives. The customer must pick up the order within 30 days of notification. Products that are not picked up within this period may be subject to cancellation, restocking charges, or forfeiture of the deposit, to the extent permitted by law.
Identification and Legal Requirements
All customers must meet applicable legal age and identification requirements at the time of purchase and pickup. The store reserves the right to refuse a sale when legally required to do so.
Product Condition
Special-order products must be inspected by the customer at pickup. As outlined in France 44’s Return Policy, items sold as a special order cannot be exchanged or returned, except in the case that an item is defective. In order to receive credit, defective products must be returned in their original containers and must not be emptied by the consumer.
Compliance with Law
All special orders are subject to applicable federal, state, and local alcohol laws and regulations. The store may decline or cancel any special order that cannot legally be completed.
Customer Acknowledgement
By placing a special order, the customer acknowledges that they have reviewed and agree to this policy, including applicable deposit, pricing, cancellation, and pickup terms.
