  1. ALL returns must be accompanied by a store receipt, gift receipt, or have been purchased on a Club 44 account, within the past 90 days.
  2. All sales from the close-out section are FINAL. No returns or exchanges will be accepted.
  3. Gift Cards cannot be returned for cash or refunded in any amount.
  4. Items sold as a special order cannot be exchanged or returned, except in the case that an item is defective.
  5. In order to receive credit, defective products must be returned in their original containers, and must not be emptied by the consumer.
  6. Non-defective returns must be in original, saleable condition, at the sole discretion of France 44.
  7. Non-defective returns in excess of 3 items in total will be assessed a 15% restocking fee.
  8. Refunds will be made using the same tender type as the original sale, or if the customer prefers, can be offered as a store credit or gift card.

At France 44 Foods we take immense pride in the quality and freshness of our products. Because we specialize in perishable foods, we have a strict policy to ensure the safety and integrity of every item we sell.

All sales on perishable food items are final.

This means we are unable to offer refunds, exchanges, or credits for perishable products once they have left our care. This policy is in place for several important reasons:

  • Food Safety: Once perishable items (like dairy, meats, prepared meals, baked goods, etc.) leave our store, we cannot guarantee the conditions in which they have been stored. For the health and safety of all our customers, we cannot accept returns of these items.
  • Peak Freshness: Our commitment is to provide you with products at their absolute peak freshness. We cannot resell a returned perishable item, as its quality can no longer be guaranteed.

What We Consider Perishable:
This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Fresh meats, poultry, and seafood
  • Dairy products (milk, cheese, yogurt)
  • Prepared foods, salads, and ready-to-eat meals
  • Bakery items (bread, pastries, cakes)
  • Fresh produce
